Before you book
Booking & guests
How many guests can stay?
The Thatched Cottage sleeps up to four guests. The Retreat can be added for a further two or three guests once its final sleeping configuration is confirmed.
Can I book The Retreat on its own?
No. The Retreat is available only as an optional add-on to a booking for The Thatched Cottage.
Can I book directly?
Yes. Direct online booking will be available through this website once the booking system is connected. Until then, please contact us with your preferred dates.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Final check-in and check-out times will be confirmed here before booking opens.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
The main bedroom has a double bed and the separate second bedroom has bunk beds, sleeping up to four guests in the cottage.
What cooking facilities are available?
The cottage has a small kitchen area with limited cooking facilities and a Tassimo coffee machine. It is well suited to lighter meals, with local pubs and places to eat nearby.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, the cottage is intended to remain dog friendly. Final dog limits, charges and house rules will be confirmed before direct booking opens.
Is there secure outdoor space for dogs?
Guests have access to a fully enclosed meadow, making the property especially appealing for dog-friendly New Forest stays.
Is there a pond?
Yes. The private garden includes a pond, so children should be supervised around the water.
